Description

Original Painting: 4 x 4 in. Antique frame: 8 x 8 in. Oil on canvas mounted on Antique Trim Frame. 

Inspiration for this sweet treasure of a painting is from my favorite climbing rose bush which I lovingly call “Prince Albert.” This was a particularly perfectly shaped rose bud from that beloved bush which is in my garden in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

This painting is currently on display in my solo exhibition, “Dazzling Dakota,” at Center for Western Studies (CWS) at Augustana University in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.  The show runs through April 25, 2025. It is available for purchase.  Please, contact CWS at (605) 274-4007 for inquiries. CWS is located at 2121 S Summit Ave, Sioux Falls, SD 57197. They are open Monday-Friday, 8:00AM-5:00PM or by appointment.
