This stunning & richly textured painting is inspired by a scene that captivated me in Marshall County, South Dakota. I adore every layer of this painting. It was a true labor of love to create – both the sculpting and the painting. This painting is truly a must-see in person painting. You will LOVE IT!!!

This painting is currently on display in my solo exhibition, “Dazzling Dakota,” at Center for Western Studies (CWS) at Augustana University in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.*  The show runs through April 25, 2025.
