Sioux River Dawn II

The fleeting, heavenly light of dawn across the misty Sioux River with wildflowers in the foreground took my breath away and I KNEW I just had to paint it! It was taken along the River Trail at Good Earth State Park, near marker 11.

This is my second painting of this scene. This dimension encompasses more of the sides of the shot I took--so is longer and a bit narrower than Sioux River Dawn I. This painting has been created for the Artist of the Plains show, which is Nov 6-8 in downtown Sioux Falls-which I will have a strong focus on Good Earth State Park and South Dakota scenes. Please, see my events for more details about that :)! LOVE to see you there!!!

I welcome private commissions similar to any painting I have created and prints in various sizes are available as well. Please, contact me through the form below if you are interested in purchasing this original, a private commission similar or a print!
