The original painting is an oil on canvas mounted on an Antique Trim Frame. The painting is 4 x 4 in. Antique frame: 8 x 8 in.
Inspiration for this sweet treasure of a painting is from my favorite climbing rose bush which I lovingly call "Prince Albert." This was a particularly perfectly shaped rose bud from that beloved bush in my garden in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
This painting is currently on display in my solo exhibition, “Dazzling Dakota,” at Center for Western Studies (CWS) at Augustana University in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.
