Custer Sunset (PRINT)

Inspiration for this painting came from a glorious sunset scene of Custer State Park Buffalo grazing.* This is classic Custer in mid-summer with Buffalo calves and their mommas roaming about continually among the rolling Black Hills.

The original painting is currently on display in my solo exhibition, “Dazzling Dakota,” at Center for Western Studies (CWS) at Augustana University in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.  The show runs through April 25, 2025.
