This is one of my specialized, "Sculpted High Relief Oil Paintings" on Canvas of a glorious lily-white Magnolia. This unique and stunning sculpted painting of a brilliant, white Magnolia is highly textured and in very high relief. The highest point of the Magnolia is about 2 inches off the canvas, which took 3 layers of sculpting to achieve before the final stage of painting could commence.
This painting was on display at a private, year-long exhibition, “The Art Masters,” at Minnehaha Country Club, featuring 15 premier regional artists. I was so honored to be among them! It sold at the members exclusive private gala event & auction at the end of the year-long show.
